Vtg Rare Prentiss Model # 622 3 inch Anvil swivel Vise w/ wrench

Up for auction is a Vintage, very rare, Prentiss model # 622, anvil type swivel Vise w/ the original wrench.  The vise in in very nice condition for its age. As you can see in the photos, there have been a couple of repairs done to the tab on the swivel base. The part that was braised appears to have been done well. The original head of the wrench has been braised onto a different handle. I believe these two parts were weak points on the original vise. The vise opens and closes very smoothly. The Jaws are three inches across and the vise opens to about 5 inches. It appears a brass shim was added under the bottom brace between the body of the vise and the swivel base. The base now tightens as it probably once did and has no wobble. There is a 1/2 inch  pritchel hole on top of the vise. This is a nice example of a vintage Prentiss vise. It appears to have been lightly cleaned.
