Vintage Pioneer 4 Track 2 Channel RT-909 Reel to Reel Player Deck Parts/Repair
This is a great looking machine.
The front is in good condition cosmetically and does not have any broken or missing pieces or noticeable scratches.
The unit powers on, but I can not get the reels to function so it can not be tested beyond that.
I am selling as parts only.
Needs servicing/repair/replacement parts.
Below is a list of things that I know are wrong.
It is not considered inclusive.
These are the issues that I know of.
There could be other issues.
I can guarantee the condition as pictured and that it powers on only.
Beyond that, I can not guarantee.
Great unit for anyone who knows how to service these units.
-Reels do not currently function, but move freely
-Tape counter display does not turn on. (This blinked when I first powered on, but has not worked since)
-There is one blown fuse.
(not sure if this is related to reels moving or tape counter display)
-Rubber on rollers is badly deteriorated and will need to be replaced.
-Does not have the housing/casing
Again, these are the issues that I know for a fact.
There may be others.
