Vintage Juliette Model 606 Transistor Tape recorder.
Includes microphone, power cable, two tape reels, spool of magnetic tape.

Does power on.
Tape transport is sluggish on play / record mode. Does rotate both reels.
Fast forward and rewind do not work with tape on the wheels. The motors are spinning. If I take the tape reels off the transport route through the heads wheels do spin on FF and Rewind.
NO ELECTRIC OUTPUT. AMPLIFIER DOES NOT WORK. NO HISS FROM SPEAKERS WHEN VOLUME LEVEL IS TURNED UP TO MAXIMUM.
Original microphone included.
Newer non-original AC power cable included. It does the job but does not securely stay in the power socket.
Case is laminate rosewood veneer.

If you are an experienced tape recorder repair person, this unit could be savable. If you have never repaired a tape recorder keep in mind that ALL tape recorders are fussy machines that require lots of TLC to keep them running correctly. I've owned a few recorders (some little crumby battery powered machines and some professional studio level machines) since the late 1950's, they all required regular service.
