Vintage GE Model M8021 Solid State Portable Reel to Reel tape recorder in the original box complete with batteries, tape, tape mailer, and instructions / paperwork.
Recorder and microphone are tested and in good working order - play's, rewinds, and records. Speed and volume are working. The tape has been previously recorded... I didn't listen to much...sounds like and old TV show possibly? I did a quick test of background noise and tapping the mic. Cosmetically player is nice with minor light scuffs / scratches. No cracks tor chips. Battery chamber is clean. I don't see a date on the box or manual but I'd date this to the 1960's judging by the graphics. Player measures approx. 9 1/2" tall or long x 8" wide and has a carry handle on top. Original box shows wear and tear, names / writing in marker, stains, and an American Fund Raiser sticker on one side. Weighs 4 lbs. before packing.
