For sale is a very nice Teac X-700R auto reverse bi-directional record and play reel to reel tape deck. I acquired this deck from the original owner's granddaughter. I cleaned the pots and switches with Deoxit, and cleaned and degaussed the tape path and heads. Everything on this deck seems to be working properly although please keep in mind it has not been professionally serviced. It comes with a used Maxell tape, and empty take up reel. In my humble opinion this might be the best 7" reel to reel tape deck ever made, definitely audiophile grade sound quality with tons of great features. It can record and play in both directions.
The cosmetic condition is very nice with some normal signs of use and wear. Picture # 11 shows the bottom side of the deck which has a long indentation which I believe was created by the deck sitting on its power chord. Other than that, it has no significant marks or issues.

Like all vintage reel to reels I recommend at some point it be looked over by a qualified technician. I cannot guarantee factory spec operation, so it is being sold as-is, although I will take a return with return shipping paid for by the buyer.
