Works just like the RC-70, but, wirelessly. Just plug the adapter into the back of the deck and use the included universal remote control or use your own. Just program it for Sony VCR.

This unit plugs into the 12-pin WAKA remote connector on the back of the deck and will allow the deck to be controlled from any universal remote programmed for Sony VCR (VHS, Beta, 8mm or Laser Disc). Comes with a universal remote programmed to control the wireless adapter.

What functions can I control? You can control the 6 standard transport functions: Play, stop, pause, record, fast forward and rewind.
Can I control more than one deck? Up to four units can be located in the same area and controlled independently. Yes, there is a jumper inside for selecting Sony Beta VCR, VHS VCR, 8mm VCR and Laser Disc.
Can I use my own remote? Yes, the wireless adapter responds to Sony VCR codes that are available on just about every universal remote I have ever tested. It is probably the most brand supported by universal remotes.
