TEAC 3300 OPEN REEL TAPE RECORDER
This is a vintage TEAC 3300 open reel tape recorder in good condition. This recorder is tested and working.
Rewind, playback, forward, and pause are all working correctly. Both playback speeds are working as well, and the speeds are accurate. I have tested both recording and playback and both are working properly. The issue I have discovered: The left channel meter is not working, even though the left channel itself does play and record fine, there is no activity on the meter. The right meter works. Both meters have some paint peeling issues on the red needle itself. See the photos, you will notice the issue.
Exterior metal is very nice, no issues. The wood panel sides are also in excellent shape, no dings, cracks or chips. Overall, a good playing deck. I have cleaned and demagnetized the heads. Because of the issue with the meters - I am selling this recorder AS-IS. I will be taking the meter issue into consideration on pricing and offers.
This recorder weighs nearly 50 lbs. Shipping will be paid by me, and shipped via UPS Ground in a robust safe box.
