    This turns on and appears to be in working condition, but I do not have the slides to test it - therefore selling as-is
    I cannot find much information on this, but below is the only clip I found on the internet:
    Vintage Rheem Califone Percept-o-matic Tachistoscope. These are very rare and hard to find! These were used in psychological experiments before the rise of computers. It's essentially a slide projector with a built in shutter and timer. It projects an image for the amount of time specified on the dial. It was used to flash an image for a short time in front of the test subject who would then describe what they saw in the image. It is in excellent cosmetic condition. It has also been tested and appears to work properly. The light flashes for a different amount of time everytime the dial settings are changed.
