RQ-300S Reel to Reel Recorder
You are bidding on a well preserved Matsushita RQ-300S reel to reel tape recorder. This Japanese built unit plays and records at both 1 7/8 IPS and 3 3/4 IPS and includes the original manual and an empty reel. It looks to have been very lightly used over its lifetime and is in great shape as you can see in the pics.
This reel to reel has been carefully tested and is in excellent working order. The controls and switches have been cleaned and lubed for years of smooth and silent operation. All belts have been inspected and replaced as needed. The tape head was cleaned (it was actually very clean to start with) and the pinch roller has been treated with rubber conditioner. It's in outstanding cosmetic shape as you can see in the pics.
