    Description

    Here is a vintage, genuine Sony DP-7 Dust Protector Cover.  I spent quite a bit of time searching the internet but could not find exactly what it was made for.  I would guess a reel to reel tape recorder.  It is in its original very worn box.  Im not sure the cover was ever used though it does have a few small scuffs / scratches (see last photo) - I think they are probably from years of storage- may polish out.  Inside measurements are about 14.75 inches wide by 10.75 inches tall.  Cover is about 1 3/8 inch deep.  May be the only one on the planet.  Hope someone can give it a good home......
