CROWN CX-724 REEL TO REEL TAPE DECK STILL WORKS W/CASE ((Case Needs TLC) RARE 🔥.
This is a very rare original crown tape deck.
It was not used for a long time (decades maybe) and kept in a dry basement.
I plugged it in and it started to run without any problems.
I tested the ffw rwd and play functions as you can see in the video I recorded. I didn’t play a real to real tape. So, the only thing I guarantee is the motor and the reels run and the power button and play buttons are working. Please make sure you watch the video. All other functions are AS IS. I couldn’t test everything because I recently broke my wrist and can’t clean this baby as I would and test all of its functions with one hand. Please make sure you understand the condition I am describing.
It has a little bit of old / musty smell which I am assuming coming from the old case as the mechanics and electronics seem to be clean.
This deck is heavy like hell and I will make sure it is boxed securely.
No power cable included.
