    Akai X-IV 1960's 4-Track stereo Tape recorder, microphones and tapes, in-built 2 W/ch amplifier - Original Crossfield Head.
    CLASSIC 1960's original one-owner 4- track, stereo, in-built 2 Watt/ch amplifier, Cross Field head Tape recorder, complete with 2 x Akai Microphones, tapes, 21-page Operators manual, power supply ( Does NOT include speakers). Although the audio electronics are fine it is strongly recommended the unit
    will need a service
    therefore SOLD AS IS. Able to record in both Mono and Stereo the Akai Recorder is very much original. Employs Akai's famous Cross Field Head Technology. Akai, 4-speed ( 7.5, 3.75, 1.3/4, and 7/8 inch). From an era when Akai was a major supplier of some very interesting reel-to-reel decks and unique Crossfield Head technology, the 'X-IV' was one of them.
