Akai gx-747 reel to reel.
Very nice condition overall. A couple of scratches and scuffs, as can be seen in the photos.
The machine plays well! The tensioner belts have been replaced. Tensioners are working as they should. All playback functions are working. The original 10" reel adapters are included. Tapes are NOT included.
The video shows the machine in use and playing a tape. I show the basic functions are working. There is an issue with SOURCE playback as described below.
There is an issue when playing from the SOURCE while making a recording. Sound from only one channel can be heard. Last photo shows only one channel shows up on the meters. But, BOTH channels record to the tape. If you plan on using this machine to do a lot of recording with, you will likely want to address this issue, as you need to do some trial and error to get the recording levels correct.
This machine will arrive as described and as shown in the photos and videos - The video likely wont be available for the first day this is listed... Please note the issue with source playback! There will not be returns accepted for this machine.
Will be properly packaged for safe shipping! I will go overboard with the packaging, there are delicate parts of this machine that require some engineering to properly package.
