NO REELS OR REELS WITH TAPE WILL BE INCLUDED IN THIS SALE. RELLS WERE STAGED TO SHOW IT WORKING.
AKAI GX-220D three Glass head three motor reverse 7" reel to reel deck.
THREE HEAD AND REVERSE - early reverse head flip model which is still working ( head moving parts cleaned and lubed ) and instead of flipping around as all cassette decks do this deck pushes the head out or drops it in depending on side to play choice.
Condition - xtra clean, serviced and working 100%.
Clean - stripped down, washed and polished.
Serviced - recapped, new transistors plus two new potentiometer dials for record input.
Working - including playback as a regular playback or using the reverse. Reverse sensing is working perfectly ( will need silver strips at the end of a tape to short reverse contacts ) sound reproduction using prerecorded tapes or tapes freshly recorded on this deck is crisp and clear. FF/REW fast and strong, VU meters fully functioning. Original owners manual included.
